OpenPCD is a 100% Free Software and Hardware project. You are free to build your own hardware from scratch, no matter what quantity.

However, most people will appreciate the possibility to buy a ready-built device and supporting our project. We have most devices on stock - please contact us for prices and shipping costs to your country.

Active 2.4GHz RFID

• Ethernet Based Active RFID Reader - can be powered via IEEE 802.af
• Active RFID Tag - can run up to 10 years from one CR2032 coin cell depending on usage patterns. In proximity mode tags are able to detect surrounding tags autonomously and send these sightings to our Ethernet based readers for further processing. - usual battery lifetime in that mode is up to 10 days.
• USB based Active RFID Reader - for mobile usage or as a helpful debug tool

Passive RFID

• OpenPCD 2 RFID Reader for 13.56MHz - fully programmable RFID reader hardware with NFC capabilities for card emulation
